The Greater Johnstown Saddle Club

The GJSC is family oriented, kid friendly, horse loving community. We continue to grow with new friends each year and look forward to upcoming events. We have wonderful people involved with the GJSC. We appreciate everyones involvement with our activities and work days. Without the help of our outstanding members and volunteers, we wouldn't be able to grow and prosper.  Our Purpose

  The purpose of the GJSC shall be to promote and further the pleasure of horseback riding and all related activites. To encourage good horsemanship and proper conduct among horsemen and horsewomen. To encourage proper and humane handling and care of horses. To promote the education of all its members in the use, handling and development of horses and horsemanship through participation in healthy competition and other equine activities.

Who We Are

Our goal  each year is to have fellowship with other riders (and non-riders alike), to foster safe equestrian activities, and to offer opportunities to meet new riders, as well as demonstrate our equestrian skills. We are always looking for new members to show that our equestrian family is alive, well, and growing in our community. We guarantee enough interesting events and trail rides for everyone. We believe you will enjoy our club and hope you will consider becoming a GJSC member and supporting our efforts.
